T-Mobile and Sprint Message Blocking

Recent legislative changes to business text messaging require all applications (including CORUS) to register with all US-based mobile carriers. While we have completed the requisite steps, CORUS users on T-Mobile and Sprint have reported that some or all text messages from CORUS are being blocked.

While we are working with T-Mobile and Sprint to resolve this issue, if you are a CORUS user on T-Mobile or Sprint and you rely on text message notification, we recommend you undertake the following steps IMMEDIATELY.

Install CORUS Mobile

Team CORUS Mobile is available for iPhone. Tap Allow push notifications, verify the Host is ‘jh.teacorus.com’ and tap the Connect button. CORUS Mobile will then download files and prompt you to login with your JHED credentials.

Connect to Hopkins Wireless

Cellular strength varies throughout our campuses. Connect to the Hopkins Wi-Fi network to give your phone an additional layer of connectivity while on service. Instructions are located on the IT@JH website.

Update myProfile

Finally, head over to myJH and make the following updates to myProfile:

  1. Scroll to the Team CORUS Mobile section.
  2. Verify the Current Status is On. Change it if it is not.
  3. Select the option to Make [Team CORUS Mobile] your Preferred Mobile Device.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click Save myProfile to save your changes.

Set an Out of Office Message

If you work in a critical capacity, we also recommend setting an Out of Office message. Please include a contact phone number. Instructions for setting an Out of Office message are located here.
