A DIRECT MESSAGE is a private conversation between two or more CORUS users. This conversation is only accessible to those users.
When you search for an individual person or device, you initiate a DIRECT MESSAGE with that person or device.
If you have an existing direct message conversation, you can continue that conversation in CORUS simply by clicking on the room in the left panel under the DIRECT MESSAGES heading.
- Click the room name associated with your direct message conversation
- The room will open, containing the history of your previous messages in that room
- Your cursor will appear in the message bar near the bottom of the screen – type a message to continue your conversation
TIP: There is an “info” panel in each room. Expand the right sidebar and you’ll see the members of the channel as well as their current CORUS status.
