When you’re offline or away from CORUS, you can sign up for message notification to a mobile device of your choosing. Receive a page or a text message following the instructions below.
After you’ve completed these steps, test your setup. Visit My Account and click the Request Test Message button.
Pager
If you’d like to receive notification on your Hopkins-issued pager, follow these instructions. This is an attractive option for those who wish to view the entire message without launching the CORUS website.
If you do not have a pager but would like to receive one, contact your departmental leadership or consult pagers@jhmi.edu for additional assistance.
Text Message (SMS)
If you’d prefer the convenience of carrying only one device, then text message notification from CORUS is likely your best bet. To sign up to receive a HIPAA-compliant text message notifications from CORUS, click here.
If you do not opt a pager or cell phone into receive new message notifications from CORUS, you’ll receive these to your Hopkins email. The sender will know when this happens, though we do encourage you to provide additional instructions in your message signature.
